AI Generates Your Questions

Based on your profile and situation description, the AI generates personalized guiding questions to help you prepare.

The Practice Workflow

Each session consists of one or more iterations. Each iteration follows a 5-step workflow designed to deepen your preparation with each round.

1Questions
2Recording
3Tagging
4Reflection
5Feedback

After completing all 5 steps, you can choose to finish the session or start another iteration with refined questions based on your performance. Most users find 2–3 iterations ideal.

Step 1: Reflection Questions

The AI generates personalized questions organized into four categories:

Feelings & Needs

Explore your emotional state and core needs going into the conversation.

Goals & Boundaries

Clarify what you want to achieve and the limits you'll set.

Assumptions & Perspectives

Challenge your assumptions and consider the other person's viewpoint.

Concrete Asks & Next Steps

Define specific requests and actionable next steps.

You can also set an optional intention statement — a short phrase capturing what you want to focus on during this round. Your avatar will present the questions to guide your preparation.

Step 2: Recording

After reviewing your questions, it's time to practice. Use your browser's webcam to record yourself saying what you'd say in the real conversation.

  • A live video preview shows your camera feed
  • A real-time duration indicator tracks recording length
  • Click "Stop" when you're finished
  • Re-record if you want another take, or save to move on

Your browser will ask for camera/microphone permission the first time. Recordings are saved securely to your account.

Step 3: Playback & Tagging

Watch your recording and tag key moments to build self-awareness. Eight predefined tags help you mark significant points:

Got EmotionalLost FocusShowed EmpathyStayed CalmClear ExpressionHesitatedStrong PointNeeds Work

Tagging is optional but recommended. Over time, your tags reveal patterns — which emotions come up most, where you tend to lose focus, and what you consistently do well.

Step 4: Reflection

After reviewing your recording, take a moment to reflect. You'll answer four prompts:

How are you feeling now?

Check in with your emotional state after practicing.

What went well?

Identify the parts that felt natural or strong.

What surprised you?

Note any unexpected insights or reactions.

Transcript (optional)

Paste or type what you actually said for AI analysis.

Honest reflections lead to better AI feedback. The more detail you provide, the more personalized your next iteration will be.

Step 5: AI Feedback

After submitting your reflection, the AI analyzes your session and provides structured feedback:

Strength Leveraged

How you used your selected Seligman character strength during the practice.

Focus for Improvement

A specific area to work on in your next iteration.

Revised Questions

Refined guiding questions based on what you've practiced so far.

Next Practice Focus

A concrete prompt to guide your next round of practice.

After reviewing your feedback, you can either finish the session or start another iteration. A new iteration loops you back to Step 1 with the AI's refined questions, letting you go deeper with each round.

Tips & Best Practices

Focus on one conversation per session

Trying to prepare for multiple conversations at once dilutes the quality of your practice.

Aim for 2–3 iterations

Each round builds on the last. Most users see the biggest improvement after the second or third iteration.

Be honest in your reflections

The AI feedback quality depends directly on the honesty and detail of your reflection responses.

Review your diary regularly

Looking back at past sessions helps you spot growth patterns and areas that need ongoing attention.

Practice close to the real conversation

Practicing shortly before the actual conversation maximizes the confidence boost you carry in.

Use tags consistently

Consistent tagging across sessions reveals patterns — which emotions come up most, where you shine, and where to focus.
